About the Product
Watson-Marlow 400/M and 400/N Series pumps are a range of compact panel-mounted peristaltic pumps designed for manufacturers of medical, diagnostic, and laboratory equipment. Their modular architecture enables the creation of single-, dual-, four-, and multi-channel systems without significantly increasing the size of the final device.
The 400/M Series uses 1.6 mm wall thickness tubing with Luer connectors, providing fast tubing replacement and reliable performance in medical equipment. The 400/N Series is designed for 1.0 mm wall thickness tubing with barbed fittings, making it ideal for compact multi-channel fluid handling systems.
The pump design completely encloses the tubing element, protecting it from external contamination and mechanical damage. A ball-bearing supported drive shaft increases motor life and ensures stable long-term operation. The pumps are available either as standalone pumpheads or fully assembled with compact DC or stepper motor drives.
The ability to combine multiple pumpheads on a single drive allows the creation of flexible multi-channel dosing systems. This makes the 400/M and 400/N Series an excellent OEM solution for analyzers, laboratory instruments, diagnostic systems, and precision fluid handling equipment.
