Watson-Marlow 800 Series Process Pumps are high-performance hygienic peristaltic pumps engineered for the gentle transfer of sensitive process fluids. Combining high flow capacity with low shear performance, the pumps meet the demanding requirements of the biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, food, and beverage industries.
A key feature of the 800 Series is its ability to perform complete Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place (SIP) procedures without disconnecting pipework. Two stainless steel rollers can be fully retracted from the hose, creating a straight-through flow path that enables efficient cleaning while eliminating dead zones and product traps.
The range includes 825 and 840 models mounted on robust stainless steel frames. Pumps are available with fixed-speed gear motors, mechanical variable-speed drives, or inverter-controlled motors supporting 4–20 mA, 0–10 V, remote start/stop, and reverse operation for seamless integration into automated process systems.
With no valves, seals, or mechanical shaft seals, the pumps are fully self-priming, capable of running dry, and ideal for handling viscous, shear-sensitive, and sterile products. The 800 Series is widely used in biotechnology, pharmaceutical manufacturing, food processing, and beverage production where hygienic operation and process reliability are essential.
