About the Product

Bioprene® Thermoplastic Tubing is Watson-Marlow's high-performance tubing developed for peristaltic pumps used in medical, biopharmaceutical, laboratory, and food processing applications. Its exceptional pump life provides reliable long-term operation while minimizing downtime in critical fluid handling processes.

Manufactured from a synthetic thermoplastic elastomer, Bioprene® contains no natural rubber latex and is fully tested to USP Class VI requirements. It is listed under NSF 51 and complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 for repeated food contact with aqueous foods, making it suitable for hygienic process applications.

Bioprene® tubing is widely used for dosing, fluid transfer, filtration, media delivery, pH control, and tablet coating applications. Continuous tubing supports operating pressures of up to 2 bar, while LoadSure® tubing elements increase pressure capability to 7 bar, depending on the pump configuration.

The tubing is manufactured in ISO 14644-1 Class 7 cleanrooms under cGMP manufacturing principles and is supplied with full batch traceability. It is compatible with both autoclave sterilization and gamma irradiation, making it suitable for sterile processing environments.
