About the Product
The Bredel CIP 40–50 series of high-capacity sanitary hose pumps is engineered for the food & beverage, dairy, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical industries. The pumps are specifically designed for production lines that require regular Clean-in-Place (CIP) cleaning without dismantling pipework or pump equipment.
Unlike standard hose pumps, the CIP 40–50 features a dedicated CIP rotor with automatically retracting shoes. During the cleaning cycle, the shoes release the hose element, allowing the cleaning solution to fully flush the entire internal surface of the hose. This significantly improves cleaning efficiency and reduces downtime between production batches.
The process fluid comes into contact only with the inner surface of an FDA-compliant food-grade hose, while NSF-registered food-grade lubricant is used within the pump. With no valves, diaphragms, or mechanical seals, the pumps provide hygienic product handling while minimizing the risk of contamination.
The range includes the CIP 40 and CIP 50, delivering flow rates of up to 8,760 L/h at pressures of up to 16 bar. Combining high capacity with hygienic design and simplified maintenance, the Bredel CIP 40–50 is an ideal solution for demanding sanitary processing applications.
