About the Product
The Bredel Heavy Duty is a heavy-duty version of the Bredel industrial hose pump range, specifically engineered for the harsh operating conditions of the mining, construction, and other heavy industries. Its reinforced design delivers enhanced durability, increased operational safety, and extended service life when handling abrasive slurries, corrosive chemicals, and other demanding process fluids.
Like all Bredel hose pumps, the Heavy Duty model operates using the peristaltic pumping principle, with the process fluid contacting only the inner surface of the hose. This eliminates wear on valves, mechanical seals, and other components found in conventional pump technologies, ensuring reliable transfer of slurries, tailings, process reagents, and high-density suspensions.
To withstand the most demanding operating environments, the Heavy Duty version features a reinforced frame, upgraded bearings, a protected inspection window, a strengthened flange support, and a C4H anti-corrosion coating. These enhancements improve equipment reliability, reduce maintenance requirements, and minimize the risk of unplanned production downtime.
