Certa Process Pumps

MasoSine Pumps
Industrial equipment

Engineers in food and beverage plants are frequently faced with pumping high viscosity products ranging from frozen orange juice, delicatessen salads and bakery produce, to cheese curd and pie fillers. The Certa pump meets the highest standards in hygiene and cleanability combined with improving process efficiency and minimizing total cost of ownership.

Certa Process Pumps

About the Product

MasoSine Certa is a range of sinusoidal process pumps engineered for the gentle transfer of high-viscosity, shear-sensitive, and solids-containing products. Its unique sinusoidal rotor generates a virtually pulse-free flow, preserving product integrity while minimizing waste and process losses.

Unlike conventional lobe and rotary piston pumps, Certa transfers product with minimal shear, preventing product degradation, aeration, and foaming. This makes it ideal for handling dairy products, creams, sauces, and other delicate, high-viscosity media.

A simple design featuring a single shaft and single mechanical seal reduces maintenance requirements, while the hygienic construction supports CIP (Clean-in-Place) cleaning without pump disassembly. When handling viscous products, Certa can reduce energy consumption by up to 50% compared with conventional positive displacement pumps.

The range includes Certa 100–800 models, as well as the compact Certa Compact, providing hygienic pumping solutions for the food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and personal care industries with seamless integration into modern production lines.

Food & Beverage

Gentle transfer of milk, cream, yogurt, curd, cheese curd, whey, sauces, mayonnaise, ketchup, jams, fruit preparations, chocolate, caramel, creams, and other high-viscosity products while preserving product structure, texture, and consistency.

Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Hygienic transfer of gels, suspensions, and other shear-sensitive pharmaceutical products while meeting the highest sanitary and process requirements.

Personal Care & Cosmetics

Smooth, low-shear transfer of creams, gels, pastes, shampoos, and other viscous cosmetic products with minimal aeration and no foaming.

Applications

Certa Process Pumps

Beverage Production

Reliable handling of concentrates, fruit purées, syrups, and other ingredients for the production of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Virtually pulse-free flow — The unique sinusoidal rotor delivers a smooth, virtually pulse-free flow, minimizing pressure fluctuations and reducing stress on downstream process equipment.
Gentle product handling — Low-shear pumping preserves the structure, texture, and quality of delicate and shear-sensitive products throughout the transfer process.
Up to 50% lower energy consumption — Consumes up to 50% less energy than conventional lobe pumps when handling high-viscosity products, helping reduce operating costs.
High hygienic standards — Certified to EHEDG, 3-A, FDA, and EC 1935/2004 standards for hygienic food, beverage, and pharmaceutical applications.
Simple maintenance — A single-shaft, single mechanical seal design simplifies servicing, reduces maintenance costs, and maximizes equipment uptime.
Handles high-viscosity products — Efficiently transfers products with viscosities of up to 8 million cP, including fluids containing soft solids, while preserving product quality.
The Certa pumps fully comply with EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group) quality standards.
