Custom Designs Based on the Watson-Marlow 400/R Series provide OEM manufacturers with a flexible platform for developing peristaltic pump solutions tailored to specific medical, diagnostic, and analytical applications. The modular design enables customized pump configurations that reduce development time while meeting demanding performance and integration requirements.

The platform is built around 400/R1 single-channel and 400/L2 dual-channel pumpheads, offering excellent manufacturing precision, quiet operation, and highly consistent flow performance. A wide range of configuration options allows each pump to be optimized for the required flow rate, installation space, and equipment architecture.

To meet different application requirements, the pumps are available with four-roller or eight-roller pumpheads, reducing pulsation and improving flow consistency. The 400/L2 dual-channel version can operate with two independent channels or with a Y-element configuration, providing even smoother, lower-pulsation flow.

The pumps are powered by variable-speed brushless DC motors, delivering reliable operation, low noise levels, and compatibility with seven continuous tubing sizes up to 6.4 mm internal diameter, providing maximum flow rates of up to 1,060 ml/min.
