About the Product

The Flexicon FMB210 is a family of fully automatic filling and capping systems developed for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and diagnostic manufacturers. Its modular design allows the system to be configured for a wide variety of containers and closure types, including vials with rubber stoppers and aluminum caps, bottles with screw caps, microtubes, and other packaging formats.

At the heart of the system is the high-precision Flexicon peristaltic filling technology with a fully enclosed single-use fluid path. The product comes into contact only with the sterile tubing and dispensing needle, eliminating the risk of cross-contamination while enabling fast product changeovers without complex cleaning procedures.

The FMB210 integrates filling and capping into a single compact monoblock. Depending on the configuration, the system can perform filling, stopper insertion, aluminum cap crimping, dropper installation, screw capping, or microtube sealing. Precise torque control ensures secure closures, helping prevent leaks during storage and transportation.

Its modular architecture enables changeovers in less than 20 minutes, while the compact footprint allows easy installation in cleanroom environments without extensive production line modifications. The FMB210 is designed to support GMP-compliant manufacturing and is supplied with IQ/OQ documentation to simplify equipment qualification and accelerate production start-up.

The total daily capacity of the FMB210 is unique for this size of filling and capping solution – depending on the filling volume and container type the system can process up to 4,500 vials per hour. Integrated peristaltic filler-pumps ensure filling accuracy and prevent costly overfilling, even with very small filling volumes.
The FMB210 ensures efficient vial filling and aluminum crimp capping ranging in volume from microdoses to 100 ml, and is also ideal for vial filling and screw capping ranging in volume from microdoses to more than 250 ml.

Production costs are minimized: one operator can handle up to 2200 screw-cap vials per hour, loading the empty vials and caps into the machine and removing the finished product from the discharge compartment.
