minePASS is integrated with Strata Commtrac – one of the most advanced and reliable positioning, communication and hazard alert system. It allows to visualize the location of stuff and equipment with an accuracy of 15 meters, to send mass or personlized text messages and emergency notifications with delivery confirmation, as well as with a conscious message delivery confirmation to prevent falce reply.
In case of an incident the system provides miners the ability to send a distress signal to the surface. The data transmits online from built in headlamp sensors (gas, temperature) to Strata Commtrac with location reference.
