HazardAvert®, a collision avoidance system designed to increase safety awareness and prevent accidents and injuries, detects when a person enters a potentially hazardous area around a machine. If the zone is violated, the system emits an audible and visual warning and can be programmed to slow or stop the machine automatically.
HazardAVERT® electromagnetic zones are fully functional in both surface and underground applications, providing continuous monitoring and vehicle detection capabilities in both surface and underground areas.
HOW IT WORKS?

HazardAvert creates an electromagnetic zone around the machine using field generators. Generators are installed on machines and create zones designated as “warning zone” and “danger zone”. These marker zones can cover the entire machine and its turning radius, or can be tailored to specific areas.
Quiet zones in underground vehicles are designed to prevent the system from sounding warning signals or shutting down the machine while operators are in the cab or working in designated areas. As soon as the operator leaves this area, the system will automatically work.

The danger zone is the zone closest to the center.
The warning zone is the zone furthest from the center.
A quiet zone is a security zone in a danger zone that allows personnel, the vehicle operator, to work inside the vehicle without being detected by the system.
