Howden offers a wide range of axial fans to supply and process air within critical and demanding processes across multiple industries. Alphair Jetstream AMF series Jetstream Axial Mine Fans (AMF Series) are heavy-duty axial fans designed specifically for main mine ventilation. These robust adjustable-pitch fans have been designed to deliver up to 1 million CFM against 14 inches total pressure. Ranging in sizes from 76 1/2" to 148", this fan line delivers high efficiency and reliable service. Howden provides aftermarket services for ALPHAIR Jetstream AMF Series fans, including maintenance and repair services and consulting services to assist customers in optimizing the performance of ALPHAIR Jetstream AMF Series fans.

Howden's JetStream AX mine ventilation fans are a flexible, high-performance solution for mines and tunnels. Delivering high power at low power consumption for maximum efficiency over a wide operating range.
Some fan models in the series show an efficiency of more than 85%
The fan design is specially designed to provide modularity and flexibility of settings. Motor specification may vary according to regional requirements. Also, the durable housing and fan motor mounts minimize vibration.
Howden JetStream AX local ventilation fans have a robust steel casing with large diameter flanges at both ends of the casing and are available in single and dual fan versions.
JetStream AX not only improves working conditions in the mine, but also expands the safe working area through improved airflow control.
The range of fan diameters varies from 762 mm to 1600 mm. These sizes correspond to the standard sizes of ventilation ducts used in underground mines around the world.
Local ventilation fans of non-standard sizes can be available upon request. Numerous variations of modes and sizes are possible to create multi-stage configurations to achieve higher pressures.
The design of the impeller allows you to change the number of blades and their angle of inclination. The impellers are dynamically balanced and mounted directly on the motor shafts.
Mine fans for main ventilation
Jetstream axial mine fans (AMF series) are reinforced axial fans designed specifically to provide main ventilation in mines.
The Jetstream range of main ventilation fans provides air supply up to 28,300 cubic meters per minute at a total pressure of 3500 Pa, thanks to a proven design and adjustable pitch of the impeller blades.
The diameter of the fans in the line varies from 194 cm to 375 cm, which provides the possibility of choosing a suitable solution to meet any need for mine ventilation.
