Emesent's optimized change detection and convergence monitoring solution combines the rapid data collection capabilities of Hovermap with the ease of processing and analysis in Aura software. The integrated workflow, optimized for underground and indoor applications, utilizes Emesent's world-leading SLAM algorithm to optimize the fusion of two scans, speeding up and simplifying the identification of movement and changes.

AURA
Hovermap Point Cloud Processing and Visualization
Emesent Aura enables scan processing and visualization on one intuitive platform, simplifying the process of processing, viewing, and analyzing point clouds for Hovermap users to gain faster insights and improve decision making.
Aura makes it easy to add visual context to point clouds, enabling 360° panoramic colorization for handheld, backpack, car, and drone images. Workflows are further simplified with the ability to colorize point clouds and capture 360° images from the same scan. Improved processing efficiency eliminates memory bottlenecks, allowing colorization of large point clouds on lower-spec machines.
Automatic filtering of moving objects eliminates the need to manually remove noise from scans associated with moving objects such as people or vehicles.
Aura also supports RTK (real-time kinematics), automating high-precision georeferencing for scanning backpacks, vehicles, and Hovermap ground drones. This enables fast, accurate, and precise on-demand ground scanning with drones, eliminating the need to plot and georeference ground control points. Aura intelligently utilizes both RTK and SLAM to optimize results.
