WIRELESS BACKWIRE
STRATA CONNECT communication system
Wireless Backbone or B-nodes extend the network's coverage beyond the fiber system by acting as a signal repeater. The wireless signal is repeated from one B-node to the next, thereby extending the wireless network throughout the mine. This eliminates the need to install additional expensive fiber optic lines to expand functionality and allows for quick and easy deployment. B-nodes can also be used independently of each other, creating a high-speed wireless network in mines where fiber is not available.
