The Strata Commtrac (C-Node) is a 100% wireless, multi-loop communications and tracking system that enables two-way text communications, atmospheric monitoring, and positioning of people and machinery within 15 meters or less throughout a mine. Powered by 100% D-cell batteries, it continues to operate after a power failure or emergency. The Communication Nodes serve as a self-forming, self-healing routing system that does not require a wired backbone, allowing for easy expansion. Powered by D-cell batteries, it significantly reduces the time and cost associated with installation and maintenance.
